Hi Arshad, For black marks and acne scars, you can try a moisturizer with bleaching agents in them. If your skin is sensitive, try a small area and test for reaction. Also, you may try a dermatologist for clinical treatments like laser removal, etc. To prevent any further damage, get a good skin care regimen and be faithful - use it everyday, twice a day. There are many causes of acne but, if you get enough sleep and exercise, eat a healthy diet, drink plenty of water and take care of your skin, you could reduce the amount of break outs you have. To cover up the black marks, use a green concealer, applied with a brush. Pat it on, rather than dragging the brush across, which would leave streaks. Next, apply a matte or oil free liquid foundation or mineral makeup powder (my favorite choice for oily/problematic skin types). If you choose the liquid foundation, I prefer to use my fingers for a maximum coverage, using upward circular strokes to blend, being careful when going over the concealer you previously applied. Finally, unless you used mineral makeup powder, apply powder by patting it on with a pad, and remove any excess with a powder brush. Good luck and I hope that helps. Teresa
My Question:
i have black marks of acne on my face and little pimples i have also a little bit dark complexion so plz help me...........
Acne question from Jaqueline
Hi Jaqueline, For acne, oily, sensitive and problem skin, I always recommend the mineral makeup powder. It does take some practice to apply so, get the recommended primer and brush and follow the directions carefully. Mineral makeup was created for this skin type and most are extremely gentle, non-irritating, have natural spf, leave a beautiful matte finish, just to mention a few of the features and benefits. MY QUESTION:

Acne question from Sarah
Hi Sarah, If you haven't tried mineral makeup powder, that is what I would recommend. There are many brands out there and try to find the most pure and natural ones you can. They usually are non-irritating, allow the skin to breathe, won't clog pores, give a natural finish, have a natural spf, to mention a few of the benefits. Sometimes, in the beginning, they take some getting used to, in terms of application. So, allow yourself time to play, be sure to get the recommended primer, special application brush and follow the directions carefully. Other help for oiliness are blotter papers (have talc on one side to absorb oil and give a matte look) and proper skin care for oily skin (be sure to exfoliate and clarify at least twice a week, in addition to your normal cleanse, tone, moisturize routine). Thanks for writing in. Teresa
MY QUESTION:
well i have a couple bad pimple scars but nothing too severe. all my acne is pretty easy to cover the only problem is my face is EXTREMELY oily and in school my makeup becomes oily, doesn't cover as well, and becomes weird textured. i have no clue how to get my makeup to stay normal all day!
Acne question from Likitha
Hi Likitha, The first thing is to check with your doctor or health care practitioner to see if you can find out why there is acne. Then, start a very good skin care regimen, also drink lots of water and eat a healthy diet. For skin care, there are a lot of good programs out there. Most of them work well if you are dedicated and use it twice a day. For makeup, the best is mineral makeup. This will not clog the pores, very easy to use, anti-inflammatory, natural UVA/UVB protection, excellent coverage for acne, composed of minerals that won't support bacteria. These are all good things for your skin type, especially. If you do try this, do get the primer and the brush that is recommended because, the application will not work properly without these tools. Thanks for writing in and let me know how it goes. Teresa
MY QUESTION:
how to make acne marks go?
ACNE question from Kendyl
Hi Kendyl, Thanks for your question! I would start with trying to get rid of the pimples. Since there are many causes like stress, heredity, smog, poor diet, not enough water, or not using proper skin care, (just to name a few) - check with your doctor or dermatologist to see if she can help you lessen them. Then, I would start with a good skin care regimen for oily skin that is prone to break out. Eat a good diet, drink lots of water and try to exercise regularly. Then, I would suggest a mineral makeup in powder form. These are very gentle to the skin and can be applied in layers for a good coverage. They claim to not irritate the skin and some even claim to help the condition of the skin. When choosing your foundation, be careful to get good instruction and the end result is better with the recommended primer and brush that goes with the product. Let me know if that helps. Teresa
MY QUESTION:
hey, i have a lot of pimples and they wont cover, any tips?
ACNE question from Jenna
Hi Jenna, For concealing pimples, I would just use your concealer by patting it on. Then, use a mineral makeup powder. Mineral makeup powder can be applied in layers to get the desired coverage. Be sure to use the primer and brush that are sold with the powder. Good luck and let me know how it goes. Teresa
MY QUESTION:
i have a few pimples on my chin how do i cover them up??
Acne question from Jillian
Hi Jillian, I'm not a doctor or a dermatologist or even an aesthetician. So, first I always suggest that you check with one of these experts to determine exactly what could be the source of your acne. The other suggestion I would have is to use acne products that are designed for the face and make it part of your regimen to cleanse, tone and use specific acne products in your chest area as well. Other than that, you could use concealer to cover them up or a heavily pigmented makeup product designed to cover scars, etc. This could irritate the skin more, though and be careful not to get these products near your clothing as they may stain. Hope that offers you some ideas you hadn't thought of. Teresa
MY QUESTION:
Sometimes it seems as though my chest acne won't go away. When it does go away, it will come back the next day even worse. what do i do?
