Dear Pavritha, For excellent lip application, I always start by using a good lip primer. This will fill in any fine lines around the lips and help the lipstick/gloss to adhere to the lips. Then, choose a good lip liner. To apply lip liner, start at the bottom center lip, drawing a line. (For bigger lips, go outside your natural lip line and for smaller, go inside. If your lips are just right, line them as they are.) Next, from the area where the top lip meets the bottom lip on the outside corners, draw a line down to the line in the bottom middle until they connect. To line the top, start in the center of the top lip and go over the two small arcs. Then, again start at the area where top lip meets bottom lip at the outside and draw upwards to meet the line. Then, take a lip brush and blend the liner so, there is not a "hard" line. Next, apply the lipstick and or gloss blending so there is no designated line between them and the liner. Hi Angela, Thanks for your great question! For your lips, use a lip primer first. There are some great ones out there that will fill in the lines around the lips and hold the lipstick better or there are some that even temporarily "plump" the appearance of the lips. Apply it around the lips going a little outside your natural line. Then, choose a lip liner that is just a shade darker than your natural color even though your lips are pale. Line the lips just outside your natural lips. Start at the "V" in the top center then, from the outside corner, draw towards the "V" until the lines meet. For the bottom lip, start with a curved line in the center (still staying outside the natural lip line) then, from the outside corner until you meet the curved line in the center. Using a lip brush blend the liner so, that it's not so dramatic. Next, use a matte lipstick - apply with the lip brush blending with the liner. For lip color, choose a color you are comfortable wearing at first. Then, as you get used to your new look, try more bold liners and lipstick colors. If you wish, apply a little gloss to the center of the bottom lip. Gloss will tend to fade quicker but, it's a nice finish. This may take some practice but, hang in there and let me know how it goes.
